Among Us Now On Xbox Game Pass For PC, Console Launch Set For 2021

Among Us –  the highly popular mobile video game developed by Innersloth –  is now on Xbox Game Pass for PC. The game is also set to be released for the Xbox console in 2021.

Microsoft made the announcement in an amended post on the Xbox blog. The post was amended to reflect the launch of the game on the Game Pass service for PC users.

Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be able to access Among US for their PCs starting today, Saturday. Console users will still have to wait for the launch of the game sometime in 2021.

Innersloth later confirmed the launch in a post on Twitter. The company said that the game is now on the PC and will arrive on the Xbox console in 2021. Based on the wording of the post, Among Us will likely be released on the Xbox One and the Xbox series family of consoles.

Earlier in the week, Among Us was launched on the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo made the announcement during its Indie World presentation. Some players were able to find a glitch in the early version of the game on the Switch, which allowed them to access the Airship map even if it was not yet set to become available.
