They have now received a more precise diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD). FTD is a form of dementia that affects the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain, leading to various symptoms, including unusual behaviors, emotional problems, difficulty communicating, and difficulty with work or walking.
