Dua Lipa Shuts Down Rumors Of Alleged Pregnancy

Dua Lipa has set the record straight – She is not pregnant. The “New Rules” singer snuffed out the rumors of her pregnancy during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday.

Rumors of Dua Lipa’s pregnancy started late last week after the singer posted a photo of herself modeling a green ensemble with a cryptic caption that contained a series of emojis. The emojis posted included an angel and baby bottles.

During her interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Dua Lipa explained that she simply liked to use random emojis on her posts.

“I like finding little random emojis. I put, like, a little baby bottle, a little angel, some sparkles. Random. I really didn’t think this through,” the “Don’t Start Now” star said.

Dua Lipa said that she was shocked at all of the comments on her posts asking her if she was pregnant. The singer said that a lot of people assumed that she was posting cryptic messages to announce her pregnancy.

“I see that people have been writing stories saying that I posted some cryptic message that I might be announcing my pregnancy. And I’m like, ‘Oh my god. These emojis have come to bite me in the ass,” she said.

After reports of her supposed pregnancy became viral, Dua Lipa quickly deleted the caption on her post. However, some eagle-eyed users found that she had forgotten to delete the same caption on Twitter.

“I am not pregnant, just to clear up. Not pregnant.” Dua Lipa reiterated.
