After two years of being out of the music tour scene, New Kids On The Block is coming back in a big way. The group announced its official comeback with a new tour in 2022, which will take place in 50 cities across the US.
The tour, called “The MixTape Tour 2022,” will kick off in Cincinnati on May 10 next year and before wrapping up in Washington, DC on July 23. The group’s other stops include Denver and Los Angeles.
New Kids On The Block will be joined by popular old-school pop bands and artists such as Salt-N-Pepa, Rick Astley, and En Vogue.
Tickets go on sale on Oct. 8. For more information, visit Ticketmaster.com. VIP packages will also be available. The band’s fan club, NKOTB, will be holding pre-sales of tickets on its website nkotb.com.
“We had a blast out on the first MixTape Tour in 2019, and can’t wait to take it to another level with our fans on the MixTape Tour 2022,” Donnie Wahlberg said.
In 2019, New Kids On The Block performed their biggest tour in eight years. The tour grossed $53.2 million and sold more than 650,000 tickets.
The late 80s and early 90s American boy band consists of brothers Jonathan and Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood.
