Taylor Swift Drops New Version Of ‘Wildest Dreams’ Hit

Taylor Swift released a new version of her famous song “Wildest Dreams,” after fans got the song trending on TikTok with the “slow zoom” function.

Swift stated the new version was inspired by Tiktok’s success. With the new version of “Wildest Dreams,” known as “Taylor’s version,” Swift will be able to earn more of the royalties than with the original song, which is part of her prior catalog recorded for the Big Hit Machine label, which she has attempted unsuccessfully to purchase control.

“Wildest Dreams” (Taylor’s version) surpassed Spotify’s initial record for one-day plays. The song exceeded two million plays compared to the original, which was on the trend for the TikTok style earlier this week and had 750,000 plays.

While the previous version of the song gave songwriter Max Martin credit, who also produced “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space,” he was not included in the re-listed song credit.

Swift has been re-recording several of her records released by Big Hit Machine after producer Scooter Braun acquired the record business in 2019. When Braun took over her master records, Swift stated that he had stopped her from utilizing them for shows and in projects like her 2020 documentary Miss American Netflix. Since then Braun has sold the Swift masters for $300 million in the first 6 albums.

The next re-recorded edition of Taylor’s album will be “Red,” she teased back in August. The original 16 tracks included on the 2012 album will be included in “Red (Taylor’s Version)” together with fourteen additional bonus songs. This album is scheduled for publication on 19 November.

The first re-recorded album, “Fearless (Taylor’s Version),” which was released in April, sold 291,000 sales and delivered Swift another number one record.
