Biden Curses At Fox Reporters, Calling Him An SOB During Press Conference

U.S. President Joe Biden was caught cursing at a Fox reporter during a Monday’s press conference at the White House. The cursing was caught on a hot mic and was audible to everyone at the event.

Biden had responded to the journalist indirectly after he shouted a question about the effects of the rising inflation on the congressional elections. As media were being escorted out of Biden’s Competition Council meeting, Peter Doocy, a White House correspondent with whom Biden frequently spars, asked about the rising inflation and if it was a political liability.

Biden remarked, “That’s a terrific asset, more inflation” as more reporters were shouting questions. Unlikely forgetting that his microphone was on, Biden continued and said, “What a foolish son of a b*tch.”

Biden contacted Doocy’s cell phone an hour after the exchange and told him that what he said was “nothing personal.” When Biden took office a year ago, he promised to be tough on any disrespect shown by members of his government. To the satisfaction of many of his supporters, Biden’s predecessor, Republican Donald Trump, routinely insulted reporters at rallies and press conferences.

In a television interview, Doocy laughed at Biden’s comments, adding, “Yeah, nobody has fact-checked him yet and said it’s not true.” Biden allegedly urged the Fox News reporter to keep asking about topics other than those covered by the rest of the press.

Last week, Biden slammed Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich for trying to press him after his controversial statements regarding the rising Russia-Ukraine war at a press conference.

Doocy, who has covered Biden for years, is frequently summoned by the president at events, where he asks skeptical and critical questions. Fox News, which is conservative, has been critical of Biden’s presidency and Democrats.
