A man in India has died from health complications related to him gluing his penis shut using industrial adhesives. The man, who lives in Ahmedabad, India used the adhesive to “seal” his reproductive organ because he forgot to bring a condom.

Salman Mirza reportedly put glue on his private parts as a form of contraceptive. He and his fiancé, whose name was withheld, reportedly checked into a local motel back in June. Local police said Mirza decided to use super glue when he forgot to bring a condom as he did not want to get his fiancé pregnant.

Mirza reportedly collapsed a day after and was immediately taken to the hospital. Police said the two may have been on drugs or were intoxicated during the incident. Mirza reportedly carried the glue as the couple had occasionally inhaled a mixture of glue and whitener to get high.

Witnesses, including the couple’s friends, said Mirza was already experiencing health problems and the glue incident may have worsened his condition.

Mirza died in the hospital last week. The case was not made public by authorities until recently. Doctors said he had died from multiple health complications, including multiple organ failures. It is not yet clear what actually caused his death or it if was an adverse reaction to the adhesive.

Mirza’s family has alleged that his fiancé may have forced him to apply the glue to his private parts. However, police have ruled the death was accidental.
